The Registered Nurse (RN) — Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg role is onsite in Gainesville, FL, in a hospital’s cardiac telemetry medical-surgical unit. The schedule may be days or nights, with rotating weekends. Compensation is $29.73–$43.20 per hour; sign-on and relocation assistance are case by case and not guaranteed. The unit is part of a 523-bed acute care center recognized for stroke, chest pain, spine surgery, and bariatric surgery services. The nurse assesses patients at admission and throughout each shift, communicates changes to the care team, carries out ordered procedures and monitoring, and documents care. The role also includes medication administration and monitoring, plus education for patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, treatment, medications, and follow-up care.
