Infant and Toddler Teacher

The Infant and Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Yerington, NV, with compensation of $12–$16 per hour. The teacher supports the Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley's Infant and Toddler program and reports to the Early Learning Center Director or Director of Operations. The teacher plans and leads developmentally appropriate activities and helps meet each child's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs. The role supports children's development through classroom leadership, family communication, safe learning environments, and program compliance.

What you'll do

• Plan short- and long-range activities aligned with curriculum objectives and developmentally appropriate practice
• support and lead the Infant and Toddler program
• prepare monthly plan charts
• complete biannual developmental assessments and reports
• communicate with parents
• maintain records and confidentiality
• supervise classroom assistants, aides, and volunteers
• maintain a safe and healthy classroom
• coordinate field trips
• follow licensing regulations
• report suspected abuse to a supervisor.

Why this role
