Prep Cook

Job overview

The Prep Cook role is onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. STK Scottsdale’s kitchen team prepares ingredients for service and supports execution of the restaurant’s signature menu. The cook prepares and portions ingredients, maintains an organized and sanitary prep station, and works with chefs and line cooks to keep kitchen service flowing. Following recipes, portion controls, and food-safety practices supports consistent food quality.

What you'll do

• Prepare and portion ingredients, proteins, sauces, and garnishes
• wash, peel, chop, and cut produce
• assist with butchering meat and filleting fish as needed
• label, store, and rotate food products
• stock and clean the prep station
• work with chefs and line cooks
• complete mise en place before service
• follow recipes, portion controls, sanitation standards, and health department regulations.
