HVAC Field Service Technician, Data Center Cooling Systems

The HVAC Field Service Technician role is onsite in Sparks, NV, supporting the Las Vegas and Reno markets. Pay is $38–$50 per hour. Mechanical Products Nevada provides HVAC and plumbing equipment and solutions, and this position supports mission-critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers. The technician assists with startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of cooling equipment and related mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The work helps verify system performance and resolve issues during critical startup activities, in coordination with senior technicians and project teams.

What you'll do

• Support startup and commissioning of CRAH, CRAC, IRHX, and DAHU equipment
• perform pre-functional checks and assist with commissioning tests
• troubleshoot hydronic and chilled-water systems, electrical systems, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation
• read drawings and schematics
• coordinate field activities
• complete checklists, inspection reports, and troubleshooting documentation.
