Security Operations Center Specialist

The Security Operations Center Specialist role is onsite at a secure facility on O‘ahu, Hawaii. Compensation is $27 per hour. The role supports security operations by monitoring systems and responding to incidents to safeguard personnel, facilities, and sensitive information. The specialist monitors physical and technical security systems, assesses and documents incidents, coordinates dispatch and emergency response, and escalates issues according to established procedures and contractual requirements.

What you'll do

• Monitor access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms, radios, and telephony systems
• receive, assess, document, and respond to incidents
• dispatch security personnel and coordinate emergency response when required
• maintain incident logs and shift documentation
• verify badges and coordinate visitor access
• communicate with government personnel, first responders, and internal stakeholders
• escalate incidents under SOPs and post orders
• support continuity of operations.
