Bioinformatics Scientist

The Bioinformatics Scientist role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with an anticipated base salary of $110,000–$120,000 per year. Celcuity develops targeted therapies for solid tumor indications, and this role reports to the Bioinformatics Senior Principal Investigator. The scientist analyzes complex experimental and clinical datasets to support research and drug discovery and development. The work includes collaborating with wet-lab and clinical teams, improving reproducible R/Python workflows, applying statistical and AI/ML methods, and communicating findings through reports and publications.

What you'll do

• Execute bioinformatics studies with R&D wet-lab scientists, clinical teams, and bioinformaticians
• communicate results and prepare abstracts and manuscripts
• recommend data-capture technologies and preclinical models
• implement and validate analytical methods
• improve R/Python workflows for large-scale omics data
• apply predictive models, including AI, to experiments and drug-development processes
• maintain reproducible code, documentation, and data integrity.
