Electrical Wiring Architect

The Electrical Wiring Architect role is onsite in Wixom, MI. Compensation is not specified. Workhorse develops electric vehicles focused on last-mile delivery and commercial transportation. The role defines and maintains vehicle-level wiring architecture so electrical components and systems work together across vehicle configurations. It supports vehicle development and validation by coordinating engineering interfaces, resolving wiring issues, and ensuring designs meet cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability needs.

What you'll do

• Own vehicle wiring architecture, including harness partitioning, interfaces, grounding, power distribution, and network topology
• develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and documentation using Capital Harness
• define harness boundaries, routing, circuit requirements, and connector requirements
• coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers
• support design reviews, safety reviews, EMC analysis, vehicle builds, validation, root-cause analysis, and configuration control.
