The Field Services Technician supports Global Technology infrastructure projects, including site discoveries and IDMZ upgrades. It requires both technical documentation expertise and hands-on capability with network infrastructure and cabling.

What you'll do

• Conduct full infrastructure discoveries.
• Evaluate rack space availability.
• Map existing network infrastructure.
• Complete enclosure documentation for MDFs, IDFs, and server rooms.
• Record rack elevations, switch ports, SFP details, and cable conditions.
• Assess HVAC and power for performance and redundancy.
• Identify and document all installed equipment.
• Perform network cable terminations, testing, and labeling.
• Correct cabling deficiencies.
• Support network troubleshooting during go-live and cutover phases.
• Participate in rack and stack deployments.
• Provide on-site support during installations.
