Residential Counselor — PRN

The counselor maintains residents’ safety and provides therapeutic supervision during treatment and educational activities. The role supports daily routines, documents behavior and interventions, and helps maintain a safe therapeutic environment through the program’s procedures and techniques.

What you'll do

• Ensure resident safety by implementing program policies and procedures
• supervise residents during treatment and educational activities
• coordinate therapeutic activities and oversee daily assignments
• document resident behavior and interventions
• maintain awareness of residents’ whereabouts
• attend required meetings and training
• provide behavioral interventions and maintain a safe therapeutic environment using TCI and C.A.R.E. techniques.

Why this role

PRN employees must work at least 32 hours each month and attend orientation Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; paid TCI and C.A.R.E. training is offered.
