The Patient Financial Specialist — Pharmacy role is onsite in Lenexa, KS. Pay is $19–$21 per hour on W-2, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and a 30-minute lunch break. The role supports the Pharmacy department. The specialist helps patients access prescription and specialty medications by submitting prior authorizations and assistance or grant applications, following up with insurers, and retrieving chart notes. Accurate processing and coordination support timely medication access and the department’s patient financial assistance work.

What you'll do

• Submit prescription and specialty medication prior authorizations through CoverMyMeds or directly to insurers
• complete medication assistance and grant funding applications
• contact insurance companies for status updates
• retrieve chart notes from Epic.
