The Swim Instructor works onsite in Troy, MI. The part-time role includes 4–6-hour shifts teaching eight or nine classes back to back, with availability for one weekend shift from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour. The instructor teaches children at Aqua-Tots Swim School. The instructor delivers lessons that build children’s swimming ability and water-safety skills. Lesson planning, constructive feedback, and attention to pool safety help students progress in a supportive learning environment.

What you'll do

• Teach swimming lessons to children of different ages and skill levels
• create and implement lesson plans
• conduct group and individual lessons
• provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• ensure participant safety in the pool area
• maintain a clean and organized teaching environment
• track student progression
• attend monthly in-service training
• provide customer service to guests.
