What you'll do

• Read production schedules and assess blending and storage needs
• estimate compound requirements and route materials to silos or hoppers
• adjust blender controls and hoses
• operate forklifts to move materials
• communicate with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing
• clean and maintain blending and storage areas
• monitor raw-material inventory and assist with monthly inventory.
