What you'll do

• Prepare hot menu items, including carving and display cooking, according to recipes and procedures
• grill items to specification and prepare fried foods fresh
• complete prep work and stock stations
• use the buffet production system to follow quality and shelf-life standards
• monitor cooking, holding, and serving temperatures
• follow opening and closing procedures
• maintain equipment
• rotate stock using FIFO
• conduct inventory checks with the manager
• sanitize cooking areas and tools
• follow health and food-safety rules
• assist guests with food choices and communicate courteously with guests and team members.
