Director of Development

The Director of Development role is an onsite, full-time position in Lafayette, IN. The salary range is $75,000–$80,000 annually. The role is part of the Administration department and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The director leads fundraising, donor engagement, outreach, communications, and development work to build the relationships, resources, visibility, and community support needed to advance the organization’s mission.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement an annual development plan
• cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and institutional donors
• strengthen donor retention and giving strategies
• track donor activity and development trends
• support grant research, writing, administration, and reporting
• oversee communications, outreach, and community engagement
• lead fundraising and awareness events
• manage department staff and vendors
• work with the CEO, board, leadership team, staff, committees, donors, partners, and volunteers.

Why this role
