What you'll do

• Prepare the clinic for opening by reviewing the facility, opening systems, and preparing registration packets
• greet patients and collect paperwork, insurance, and identification
• register patients and update records
• verify insurance and check patients out
• determine and process payments and address billing issues
• assist with follow-up appointments and medical documentation requests
• balance daily charges against system reports
• complete closing documentation and reports
• follow cash-control procedures and secure financial assets
• maintain accurate documentation.
