Mental Health Therapist

The Mental Health Therapist role is onsite at Amae Health’s Long Beach, CA clinic, which is opening soon. The listed base salary range is $75,000–$90,000 per year for associate-level licensure; licensed-level pay is $90,000–$115,000 per year, based on experience. Amae Health provides specialty outpatient care for people living with severe mental illness through an integrated care model. The therapist provides ongoing, evidence-based support to adults with severe mental illness, contributing to coordinated care and recovery. The role works with patients and an interdisciplinary team and may also support therapist consultation and program development.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex severe mental illness patients
• provide regular support in person and occasionally virtually
• deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around model
• collaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers
• address medical needs related to social determinants of health
• consult with treatment-team therapists, including licensed therapists and trainees, and assist with program development.
