The Montessori Assistant Primary Teacher (Ages 3–6) role is onsite in Blacksburg, VA. Pay is $13–$14 per hour. MINE, ME & US Montessori School provides a year-round Montessori environment for children from six weeks through age 12. The assistant supports children’s care and learning by applying Montessori principles, helping with meals, communicating with the lead teacher and other assistants, and maintaining clean learning spaces. The work contributes to a safe, respectful environment that supports children’s development and education.

What you'll do

• Care for young children using safe and effective practices
• implement Montessori educational principles for infant education
• assist with family-style meals
• communicate consistently with the lead teacher and other assistants
• maintain a clean learning environment, including daily cleaning of eating, play, and sleep areas and safe hand-washing practices.
