The Experienced Tax Preparer role is onsite in Livingston, TX, with pay of $16.50–$17.50 per hour. Compensation includes a $150 sign-on bonus for new employees, subject to terms. The role supports Jackson Hewitt’s seasonal tax preparation and client service. The preparer uses tax expertise and knowledge of tax laws to serve clients in a fast-paced setting. The role requires at least two seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns and contributes to client service and the team’s tax preparation work.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional client service and connect with clients
• complete individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns using tax expertise and knowledge of tax laws
• participate in training and continuing tax education.
