Weekend Caregiver

The Weekend Caregiver role is onsite in Lake Bluff, IL, with services provided in clients’ homes and community locations across the North and Western Suburbs. Pay is $16.50–$18 per hour. Amada Senior Care provides care services for seniors and their families. The caregiver assists clients with daily living activities and companionship, helping support comfort and well-being at home. The role also helps families by monitoring changes in client health and assisting with errands, appointments, meals, and household tasks.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, walking, and exercise
• provide companionship and emotional support
• prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• escort clients to appointments and run errands
• monitor and report changes in health
• use behavior-management techniques when necessary.
