What you'll do

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable
• prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• set up instruments, equipment, and materials
• assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry
• sterilize instruments and follow infection-control standards
• perform approved clinical duties within licensure
• complete laboratory tasks as directed
• provide oral-hygiene and postoperative instructions
• clean, disinfect, stock, and organize treatment rooms
• maintain patient records
• and assist with appointment scheduling and payment procedures.
