Millwork CNC/CAD Programmer

Job overview

The Millwork CNC/CAD Programmer role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Compensation is $21–$30 per hour. The programmer supports Concepts In Millwork’s custom casework and millwork production process. The role translates drawings and design information into accurate production programs and related lists for manufacturing. By checking programming for completeness and identifying coordination, manufacturing, or installation issues, the programmer supports quality, accuracy, and efficient plant production.

What you'll do

• Create programming for casework and millwork using Microvellum, Cut-Rite, WoodWop, or other provided programs
• create DXF drawings using AutoCAD
• follow engineering standards
• identify potential coordination, manufacturing, or installation issues
• prepare lay-up lists, edgeband takeoffs, and cut lists
• review programs for accuracy before release to the plant
• assist the plant as needed
• and maintain an orderly, safe work area.
