The Registered Nurse (RN) — Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) role is onsite in Brawley, CA. Compensation is $43.43–$49.92 per hour. The nurse supports patients in the NICU and coordinates care with the hospital’s healthcare team. What you'll do

• Assess physiological, psychosocial, educational, and discharge-planning needs
• develop and revise patient-specific care plans
• coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team
• provide appropriate clinical nursing care and emergency measures
• educate patients and families
• administer and control medications, narcotics, and blood components
• document care accurately
• support patient rights, privacy, safety, and confidentiality
• participate in staff meetings, education, and quality improvement
• cross-train or float when requested and competency is documented.

Why this role

Requires current California registered nursing licensure and AHA BLS upon hire; NRP certification is required by the department. Previous clinical experience is preferred. Scheduling includes weekends, holidays, nights, and call; every other weekend is a minimum requirement.
