Project Engineer, Multifamily Construction

The Project Engineer, Multifamily Construction role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with compensation of $90,000–$120,000 per year. The general contractor delivers ground-up and rehabilitation multifamily construction projects across California. This role supports Project Managers and Superintendents with the administrative and technical work that keeps construction projects organized, on schedule, and on budget. It coordinates project documentation, subcontractors, schedules, costs, procurement, and closeout.

What you'll do

• Support Project Managers with project administration and documentation
• manage RFI and submittal processes
• assist with subcontractor coordination, scope review, and contract administration
• track schedules and look-ahead planning
• process change orders and support budget tracking and cost reporting
• coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules
• maintain project files, meeting minutes, and correspondence logs
• attend OAC meetings and prepare status updates
• support punchlist and closeout documentation
• liaise between field and office teams on documentation and approvals.
