Procurement Lead

The Procurement Lead is an onsite role in Osseo, MN; compensation is $115,000–$130,000 per year. The role supports States Manufacturing’s fast-paced engineered-to-order manufacturing environment and its complex customer projects. The lead manages sourcing and supplier performance to help meet cost, quality, capacity, and delivery needs. By identifying supply risks, expediting critical materials, and improving procurement processes, the role helps keep project and production schedules on track as the company grows.

What you'll do

• Lead procurement activities and RFQ/quoting for purchased parts and assemblies
• select suppliers and analyze quotes and lead times
• manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and responsiveness
• expedite critical and overdue materials and develop recovery plans
• partner with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Project Management, and Quality
• support supplier qualification and onboarding
• identify cost reductions, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation
• develop procurement processes, systems, metrics, and reporting
• mentor procurement team members without direct reports.
