Engineering Project Manager

The role supports sales pursuits with technical building assessments and mechanical solutions, and manages outside engineering firms on booked construction projects. It helps ensure designs meet customer requirements, project standards, applicable codes, and construction needs.

What you'll do

• Partner with sales as a technical resource
• survey HVAC, controls, and building systems at customer sites
• document conditions and identify problems
• develop mechanical solutions and conceptual designs
• prepare owner’s requirements and basis-of-design materials
• manage subcontracted engineering firms from kickoff through closeout
• review design packages and calculations
• support preconstruction estimates and construction administration
• advise project managers on scope, change orders, and field issues
• ensure code compliance.

Why this role
