Hospice Medical Director

What you'll do

• Provide overall medical direction
• support compliance with organizational policies and applicable requirements
• participate in interdisciplinary group and quality improvement activities
• review and develop treatment protocols
• educate and consult with community physicians
• review clinical information and certify hospice eligibility
• establish and update plans of care with attending physicians and the interdisciplinary group
• consult on pain and symptom management
• oversee medications and treatments
• document clinical care
• support physician coverage and participate in on-call duties.
