What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and direct the dietary department
• ensure compliance with health codes and regulations
• create nutritionally balanced menus with a Registered Dietitian
• manage inventory, purchasing, and costs within budget
• supervise, train, and schedule staff
• monitor food preparation and service quality and sanitation
• coordinate with nursing and other departments on resident needs
• maintain menu, meal count, and dietary records
• participate in care plan meetings as needed.
