Cake Decorator

Job overview

The Cake Decorator role is onsite in Linthicum Heights, MD. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. The Missing Grain is a 100% gluten-free bakery and café. The decorator produces finished cakes, cupcakes, and specialty bakery items to customer specifications and bakery standards. The work supports custom and seasonal orders while maintaining safe handling, sanitation, and gluten-free procedures in the facility.

What you'll do

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and specialty bakery items
• prepare buttercream, fillings, and decorating components
• pipe borders, lettering, flowers, and other designs
• follow customer specifications and bakery standards
• assist with custom and seasonal designs
• organize cake orders and production schedules
• store and handle products and supplies properly
• maintain a clean workstation and follow food-safety, allergen-awareness, and gluten-free procedures.
