Network Administrator — TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

The Network Administrator role is onsite five days per week in McLean, VA, with an opportunity to work from the Chantilly, VA location by year-end. The listed salary range is $158,000–$205,000 per year. The role supports PGTEK’s client data center networking infrastructure. The administrator helps monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve high-performance networks supporting AI and other demanding workloads. Working with experienced engineers, the role contributes to deployments, incident resolution, network upgrades, and operational documentation while developing expertise in advanced networking technologies.

What you'll do

• Assist with documentation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center networking infrastructure
• develop expertise in BGP, ECMP, VXLAN, Spine-Leaf architectures, MCLAG, and RoCEv2
• identify performance trends and capacity constraints
• partner with engineers on deployment and optimization
• investigate incidents and support root-cause analysis
• participate in upgrades, implementations, and testing
• maintain network documentation
• travel up to 20% as needed.
