Apartment Community Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Community Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Newark, NJ, with pay of $24.00–$28.00 per hour. The technician maintains the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas so they remain safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for residents. The work includes completing service requests and preventive maintenance, making repairs, inspecting common areas, and participating in the required after-hours emergency coverage rotation.

What you'll do

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance
• diagnose problems and make repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and codes
• track maintenance supplies and report reorder needs
• inspect and maintain the property and common areas
• support positive resident relations
• participate in after-hours and emergency coverage rotation.
