What you'll do

• Assists with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment.
• Prepares and monitors patients during procedures.
• Removes arterial and/or venous sheath, maintains hemostasis, and monitors patient status.
• Cleans and stocks cath lab.
• Orders supplies and manages inventory.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree

Experience

Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience. RCIS certified within six months of date of hire. ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
