The role coordinates daily crew work, promotes safe practices, and helps respond to flooding, storm damage, and infrastructure failures.

What you'll do

• Lead and participate in skilled and semi-skilled manual labor for public infrastructure
• perform excavation, trenching, shoring, backfilling, and pipe installation
• assist with asphalt and concrete repairs
• install and maintain traffic-control devices
• operate storm-drainage camera systems and assigned vehicles and equipment
• inspect equipment and report deficiencies
• assess job-site hazards and implement safety precautions
• coordinate daily crew activities and provide guidance and training
• respond to urgent operational needs
• assist other Public Works divisions as needed.
