Job overview

The Bilingual Clinician Consultant role is onsite in White Plains, NY. Compensation is $40 per hour for administrative tasks and $135–$150 per group session. The clinician supports Greater Mental Health of New York’s Adult Sex Offender (ASO) Program, within an organization focused on mental wellness and community services. The clinician provides sex-offender-specific behavioral health services to people on probation through weekly groups, assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with probation and other agencies. The role uses trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches and person-centered care to support client change and program goals.

What you'll do

  • Provide culturally sensitive clinical services, including sex-offender-specific assessment, treatment planning, and group psychotherapy
  • document client progress
  • integrate psychosexual evaluation findings into treatment
  • conduct case conferences
  • coordinate case-management needs with agency and community partners
  • collaborate with probation and polygraphers
  • prepare status reports and court documentation
  • provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • participate in program development and training
  • follow clinic policies and professional standards.
