The Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) role is onsite in Saint Helena, CA. Pay is $3,200–$3,600 per week. The position provides specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patients. The nurse assesses and monitors patients, delivers advanced therapies, and responds to changes in condition. Through collaboration with physicians, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team, the role supports patient outcomes and care following cardiac and vascular surgery.

What you'll do

• Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
• monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, ventilators, and critical-care equipment
• administer medications, IV therapies, vasoactive drips, blood products, and advanced cardiac treatments
• respond to changes and emergencies
• assist with postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery care
• educate patients and families
• document care and follow safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
