The Engineering Technician – Autonomous Vehicle Technology role is in person in Foster City, CA, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and pay of $47 per hour. The role supports engineering operations and materials flow through product development and manufacturing for an autonomous ride-hailing company. The technician partners with engineers on manufacturing processes and new product development, builds and tests electromechanical hardware from prototypes through low-volume production, inspects technicians’ work as a Quality Delegate, and conducts final product testing. The work contributes to the development of autonomous vehicle technology through careful, reliable execution of established processes.

What you'll do

• Partner with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes for new product development
• build and test electromechanical hardware from prototypes to low-volume production
• inspect and verify other technicians’ work as a Quality Delegate
• conduct final product testing following established procedures
• maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• communicate clearly and follow detailed processes.
