The Social Worker (LBSW) role is an onsite position located in Bismarck, ND. Compensation for this role is specified as $26.00 - $38.50 per year. This position supports the Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset facility, a faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care to seniors. This role exists to provide essential supportive services and counseling to residents and their families. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker coordinates care programs, assists with social, emotional, and economic concerns, and ensures residents maintain an optimal level of functioning through compassionate advocacy and crisis intervention.

What you'll do

• Provide supportive services and counseling on healthcare programs.
• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with social, emotional, and economic concerns of patients and families.
• Coordinate healthcare programs among residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Respond to suspected abuse or neglect.
• Develop and implement plans of care.
• Provide referrals and education regarding available services.
