Equipment Operator / CDL Driver

The Equipment Operator / CDL Driver role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, supporting electrical construction and service crews. Pay is $30.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The client serves commercial and residential customers throughout Buffalo and Western New York. The role operates and transports equipment and materials while supporting excavation, underground installation, and other field operations. It also helps keep equipment and the fleet safe, maintained, documented, and ready for project work.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment including mini excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and trenchers
• perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, material handling, and site restoration
• support underground installation
• interpret grade stakes, site plans, and grade sheets
• transport equipment and materials in accordance with DOT requirements
• inspect equipment and record hours, fuel use, and utilization
• perform routine maintenance and report repair needs
• assist with site setup, traffic control, manual labor, cleanup, and yard organization
• follow company safety policies and OSHA and DOT regulations
• support emergency, after-hours, or storm restoration work when required.
