PC Strand Material Handler – 1st Shift

Job overview

The PC Strand Material Handler role is onsite in Newberry, SC, Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour; overtime may be available each day, including weekends. The role supports production of prestressed concrete strand. The handler moves, stages, and organizes raw, in-process, and finished materials so production operators have supplies and finished coils are handled safely. Accurate identification, records, housekeeping, and adherence to safety procedures support production efficiency and prevent material damage.

What you'll do

• Move raw materials, work-in-process products, and finished PC strand
• load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment when trained and authorized
• supply production lines
• assist with finished coils or reels
• verify identification, quantities, and labels
• maintain movement records and paperwork
• follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• keep work areas clean
• communicate material needs or shortages.
