What you'll do

• Prepare and deliver lessons, quizzes, tests, and laboratory exercises
• use instructional media and hands-on equipment
• administer exams and assignments
• follow Department of Labor training standards
• record grades and attendance
• counsel apprentices on attendance and performance
• oversee classroom and laboratory safety
• communicate required documentation to the associated community college
• enforce program policies
• teach safety regulations and practices
• identify curriculum discrepancies
• assist with apprentice interviews and workforce-development outreach.
