What you'll do

• Plan and perform setups and machining operations on machine-shop equipment
• select attachments, tools, feeds, and speeds based on material and finish requirements
• lay out and machine castings to close tolerances
• work with steel, iron, brass, bronze, and aluminum
• make and fit jigs and fixtures
• determine operation sequences and perform related computations
• inspect parts and maintain equipment and work areas under 5S processes.
