Product Security Architect

Job overview

The Product Security Architect role is onsite in Fremont, CA, three days per week initially, with plans to transition to five days in the office; compensation is $65–$70 per hour. The role drives security across Enphase's hardware portfolio, from silicon to cloud, including products used in solar and energy systems. This senior technical role owns product security architecture, testing, compliance, and vulnerability management across hardware, firmware, and cloud-connected products. It works across engineering and product teams to reduce security risks, support regulatory readiness, and protect deployed devices and energy infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Architect secure boot and hardware root-of-trust controls
• own device identity and cryptographic key lifecycle
• design secure OTA updates and firmware hardening
• lead product compliance and certification efforts for the EU Cyber Resilience Act and RED Delegated Act
• define security testing and release gates
• manage vulnerability intake, scoring, remediation, and coordinated disclosure
• coordinate external penetration testing and researcher engagement
• lead product threat modeling and maintain security standards
• harden communication protocols and network interfaces.
