Food Service Worker (Assistant Cook)

The Food Service Worker (Assistant Cook) is an onsite, full-time role in Apple Valley, CA, with a stated pay rate of $17 per hour. The role helps provide meals by preparing food according to posted menus and recipes, maintaining food safety, and completing meal and kitchen records. It also supports kitchen operations through dishwashing, inventory preparation, and coordination with the Kitchen Supervisor and Team Administrator.

What you'll do

• Assist with meal preparation using posted menus, correct ingredients, quantities, and recipes
• follow food-handling and health standards
• wash dishes, trays, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen items
• document meal counts and production information
• maintain temperature logs and other assigned records
• assist with month-end inventory preparation
• account for products and retain invoices
• drive a vehicle when necessary.

Why this role
