Activities Assistant

Job overview

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Marlborough, MA; pay is $17–$19 per hour. The assistant supports the Activity Director and provides recreation programming for residents and patients in a geriatric care setting. The role helps plan and deliver resident-specific activities, documents progress and responses, and involves residents and families in care planning when possible. These activities support residents’ recreation goals and participation in organized programs.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and implementing organized recreation programs
• provide resident-specific, goal-directed recreation
• facilitate small-group activities as assigned
• document recreation progress and resident responses
• assist with written recreation care plans
• involve residents and family members in assessment and care planning when possible
• transport residents to and from programs.
