What you'll do

• Inspect and functionally test fire alarms, sprinklers, special-hazard systems, extinguishers, and other life-safety systems
• verify devices and panels
• conduct applicable drain, flow, trip, and alarm tests
• identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action
• complete reports and maintain records
• communicate results to customers and authorities
• coordinate follow-up repairs
• follow OSHA and company safety policies.
