The Director, Transaction Advisory Services, Financial Services role is based in Nashville, TN, with collaboration in the office four days per week and work at client sites as needed. Portage Point Partners’ Transaction Advisory Services team supports private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporates with financial, tax, and operational diligence. The Director provides specialized financial-services transaction expertise, leads diligence and quality-of-earnings work, advises on valuation and risk matters, and supports business development. The role also develops client relationships, guides workstreams, mentors junior colleagues, and contributes to practice growth and firm-building.

What you'll do

• Lead or support buy-side and sell-side diligence, including quality-of-earnings analysis, portfolio, revenue and margin assessment, credit risk, regulatory compliance, working capital, and net debt analysis
• apply financial-services valuation frameworks
• review financial-services and transaction contracts
• prepare reports on earnings, budgets, indebtedness, and post-transaction considerations
• support FIG business development and practice development
• collaborate across practices
• coach junior team members and contribute to training and firm-building.
