Medical Imaging Patient Transporter — PRN

The Medical Imaging Patient Transporter is an onsite, as-needed coverage role in Rochester, MN, with starting pay of $20.40–$27.46, based on experience. The role supports the medical imaging team at Olmsted Medical Center. Working under an Imaging Technologist’s direct supervision, the transporter moves patients safely between care areas and imaging, verifies identity, and maintains clean transport equipment and exam rooms. This work helps imaging staff coordinate patient flow and prepare spaces for each patient.

What you'll do

• Transport patients by cart or wheelchair between the emergency department, medical-surgical unit, and other hospital locations using appropriate transfer techniques
• verify patient identity
• clean carts and wheelchairs after use
• clean imaging exam rooms, change linens, and restock supplies
• assist the technologist in the exam suite as needed.
