The Revenue Accountant role is onsite in Austin, TX. The stated salary range is $120,000–$130,000 per year. The accountant supports Brivo’s cloud-based access control and video surveillance business and its global revenue processes. The role leads revenue recognition and close activities, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and supporting complex hardware and software transactions. It also partners with Sales, Legal, and Operations on deal terms and helps strengthen controls and scalable accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end revenue accounting under ASC 606, including contract reviews, performance obligations, and transaction price allocations
• partner with Sales, Legal, and Operations on non-standard contracts
• support global and multi-currency revenue processes, SEC disclosures, and audits
• lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close
• prepare journal entries and reconciliations
• improve SOX controls and automate revenue tools.
