The Direct Support Professional – Residential is an onsite, full-time role in Spencerport, NY, scheduled for 32 hours per week: Monday and Thursday 3:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday are off. Starting pay is $21.55 per hour, plus a $0.75 weekend shift differential. Lifetime Assistance’s mission is to foster independence, dignity, and respect for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The professional provides personal care and daily living assistance, supports independence and social skills, implements individualized service plans, and encourages community participation. The role contributes to residents’ health, safety, dignity, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks
• support independence, self-help, and social skills
• support health and safety, including medication administration if certified
• implement and document individualized service plans
• encourage community integration
• drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed
• communicate with individuals, families, and colleagues.
