Medical Assistant and Surgery Scheduler

What you'll do

• Prepare clinics and room patients
• stock and clean exam rooms and nurse stations
• assist with examinations and routine procedures
• prepare injections and remove staples or sutures
• autoclave and dispose of biohazards appropriately
• answer patient calls and process prescription refills per provider instructions
• fit patients for DME
• scan documents to the EMR
• schedule surgery
• verify insurance and obtain authorizations and clearances
• communicate with patients, physicians, and facilities
• cover other clinics as needed.

Why this role
