Automotive Body Repair Technician

The Automotive Body Repair Technician role is onsite in Milwaukee, WI; compensation is not specified. The position supports Lake Ford’s body shop and used-car repair work. The technician inspects vehicles, identifies repair needs, completes body and mechanical repairs, and road-tests vehicles when needed to help ensure work meets dealership and factory standards.

What you'll do

• Identify required parts
• review repair orders and estimates
• follow warranty guidelines
• notify a supervisor about repair add-ons
• repair truck and trailer equipment, including sheet metal, fiberglass, structural welding, and electrical or mechanical components
• road-test vehicles as needed
• inspect for hidden damage
• advise the estimator about additional repairs or delays
• lead apprentice technicians
• maintain ASE certifications.
